The Challenge

Rentalogue’s platform was operational but unstable and inefficient. The email system was triggering in loops, causing users to receive 5–50+ duplicate emails per listing, rapidly exhausting SMTP credits and disrupting OTP and booking confirmations. Pricing inconsistencies, ₹0 display errors, SEO-unfriendly URLs, auto-logout issues, and performance bottlenecks were directly impacting user trust, booking reliability, and operational costs.

  • Rebuilt the entire email trigger system with deduplication, batching logic, and cron-based dispatch
  • Separated transactional emails (OTP/booking) from listing broadcasts for delivery stability
  • Integrated ZeptoMail SMTP with domain authentication (Cloudflare TXT & CNAME setup)
  • Rewrote URL routing into clean, SEO-friendly slug-based architecture
  • Fixed database pricing logic and standardized 24-hour time format across dashboards
  • Resolved session instability, auto-logout issues, and mobile performance bottlenecks
