Cancellation Policy

We offer the affordable best quality services

This policy explains how clients can cancel projects or ongoing services purchased from StandardTouch, including services paid for through PayGlocal.

1. Applicable Terms

This policy covers StandardTouch’s development, implementation, marketing, hosting, maintenance, and support services.

Specific cancellation terms in your accepted proposal, quotation, or service agreement take precedence, subject to applicable law.

2. How to Cancel

Submit your cancellation request in writing through our enquiry form or to the StandardTouch representative identified in your proposal or invoice.

Please provide:

  • Your name and company name.

  • Project or service details.

  • Invoice or agreement reference.

  • Requested cancellation date.

  • PayGlocal transaction reference, if relevant.

We will acknowledge the request and confirm the effective cancellation date, outstanding charges, and any applicable refund. Statutory cancellation rights do not depend on our approval.

For assistance, call +966 59 115 3847.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

You may request cancellation before work begins.

Any payment already received will be reviewed under our Refund Policy. Approved third-party expenses already incurred and unable to be recovered may remain payable.

4. Cancellation After Work Begins

If you cancel after work begins, we will stop further work as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to any agreed shutdown or handover activities.

You remain responsible for work completed, services delivered, and approved non-recoverable commitments up to the effective cancellation date.

We will provide a final account showing any amount payable or refundable.

5. Cancellation of Recurring Services

Unless your agreement states otherwise, recurring services require 30 calendar days’ written cancellation notice.

Services and agreed charges normally continue during the notice period. Any prepaid balance for later periods will be reviewed under our Refund Policy.

This notice requirement does not restrict rights provided by applicable law.

6. Payments and Recurring Billing

Cancelling a service and refunding a payment are separate actions. Cancellation does not automatically reverse a successful payment.

Where recurring billing has been authorised, we will arrange to stop future charges in line with the effective cancellation date and your agreement. Amounts already due remain payable.

Approved refunds for payments made through PayGlocal will normally be returned through PayGlocal to the original payment method, as described in our Refund Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

Cancellation of a StandardTouch service does not automatically cancel domains, hosting, software licences, subscriptions, or advertising accounts supplied by third parties.

We will explain which arrangements require separate cancellation and identify any approved charges that cannot be recovered.

For advertising campaigns managed by StandardTouch, we will confirm when campaigns have been paused or stopped. Advertising spend already incurred remains subject to the platform’s terms.

8. Project Pauses and Handover

A project pause must be agreed separately, including its duration and effect on delivery dates and costs.

Following cancellation, we will confirm the handover of client-owned materials and deliverables to which you are entitled under the agreement. Source code, project files, licences, and ownership transfers follow the agreed contract terms.

Before ending hosting or managed services, we will explain the relevant backup, export, and access arrangements.

9. Cancellation by StandardTouch

StandardTouch may suspend or terminate services in accordance with the agreement, including for non-payment, material breach, or unlawful use.

Where appropriate, we will provide written notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

If StandardTouch ends services for reasons unrelated to a client breach, prepaid fees for services not provided will be refunded, subject to applicable law.

10. Refunds and Legal Rights

Refunds arising from cancellation are handled under our Refund Policy.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory rights relating to cancellation, delayed delivery, defective services, or refunds.
